Owner ~ Naomi
“I opened The Stables Fitness Studio in July 2020 with a passion to deliver functional training to people either fed up with, or too scared of training in big commercial gyms. While you will always walk away feeling like you have had a fantastic workout and achieved something great, I take a gentle and personable approach to my training style. I don't believe you need to be screamed at to achieve your goals. I will get to know you on a deeper level either in 1-2-1 Personal Training or in our small group classes to understand your needs. All my clients hold a special place in my heart and I will go above and beyond to give you the best hour of your day.”
As a level 3 personal trainer qualified in GP Referral Naomi specialises in working with clients with more specific needs. Beginning an exercise journey with severe back pain, cardiovascular disease, stroke recovery, diabetes, obesity or pre and post natal can be a daunting experience. Naomi is there to help you develop an exercise program to work specifically with your individual needs and guide you gently through the process at a pace you are comfortable with.
Prior to delving deeper into the more specialist needs of GP Referral clients Naomi spent a number of years coaching CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. She is still passionate about providing functional fitness to the general population to improve their health and well-being to prevent age and health related illnesses before the arise.

An expert in his fields of strength and conditioning Neil is perfect for the competitive sportsmen and women looking to perfect their skills in the gym to transfer to their sport. Whether you are a competitive weightlifter looking to gain strength for your lifts; BMX-er wanting to create more explosive power; or a footballer with goals to increase your stamina, and everything in between.
With a degree in sports science and further qualifications in nutrition science Neil will put you through a number of assessments to find the most efficient and effective training styles for you along with drilling down into your nutrition to fuel your body optimally and substantially.
